Cheddar & Wells Skips Ltd ("we") collects the details you give us when you ask for a skip, book a collection or send us a message: your name, phone number, email address, delivery and invoice addresses, and any notes.
How we use your details
- To arrange, deliver and collect your skip, and to contact you about it by phone, email or text.
- To produce the waste transfer note we are legally required to keep for each job.
- To invoice you through our accounting software (Xero).
We keep waste transfer notes for at least two years as the law requires, and other booking records for as long as we need them for accounts. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.
Cookies
This website only uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping the booking form secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
To improve the booking form, we count anonymously how far visitors get through it (for example, how many reach the "choose a day" step). This uses a random number held in your browser tab until you close it, not a cookie, and isn't linked to your name, email or address. We also record the postcodes typed into the price checker, so we can see which areas people need skips in; on their own they aren't linked to you.
