On your garden, driveway, a building site or any private land, as long as you have the owner's permission. Skips can be lifted over a low wall or hedge. We usually need a gap of about 2.6m (8ft 6in) to get the lorry in, and our drivers are used to tight spots — tell us about gates, low wires or soft ground when you book.

A skip on the public highway needs a permit from the council's highways department. We'll get it for you — it can take up to 10 working days and lasts 28 days. There's an extra fee for the permit, so tick the box when you book and we'll tell you the cost. You'll need to put cones out and keep the skip lit at night; see the conditions of hire.

We're happy to be flexible. Standard hire is 14 days, with a daily charge after that. If you fill it sooner, book a collection online or give us a call and we'll pick it up when you're ready.

Level with the top of the skip, no higher. Overloaded skips can't be carried safely and are charged extra.

Payment is due on delivery unless you have a credit account with us. We'll confirm the price when we confirm your booking.

Choose a morning slot (8am to 11am) or an afternoon slot (1pm to 4pm). The driver will ring if there's a problem finding you.

Once we collect the skip, it goes to our own waste transfer station, where our team sorts it so as much as possible is reused and recycled — over 98% of it.

Yes. Our hook loader carries 18 to 40 yard roll-on, roll-off skips for large building projects and site bins. They're priced on haulage and tonnage depending on the waste, so get in touch for a price.
